Pegs in Woodstock

A little understaffed today. Felt bad for the two working. Service was good though, considering and food was great!

Not enough gluten free food, for a Person whom has a gluten allergy. Very disappointed. Also omelets were Very small and thin

Cash Only ATM in back. Great breakfast especially the hotcakes with blueberries and their own in house syrup fantastic. Accidentally left my phone and they had it safely put away. I always make it a point to eat here when I'm in Lincoln.

Always have to wait to get in but always worth the wait.

Ridiculous amount of food for the price. Maybe do your hike and the flume gorge BEFORE you gorge here. Enjoy, then waddle on out the door for a nap. You will not leave hungry.

The food was mediocre here, nothing special but definitely not bad. They were extremely understaffed and there is always a longggg wait to get in. The waitresses were nice but they were all frazzled running around like crazy. We waited with out being acknowledged for probably 10-15 minutes along with 3 other parties in the tiniest waiting area while there were plenty of tables clean and ready for seating. I understand busy times but the staff just ran around instead of acknowledging anyone.

It was ok, a little crowded over covid times and also staff a little forgetful.

Food was great. Prices were higher than I'd seen online (must have been an old menu), but it was reasonable. Serving size was more than enough. I couldn't finish my 3 oversized pancakes. Service was good as well.

lousy service, grumpy and rude gassette that just threw the menu at us. We do not recommend this place pass far away so as not to be treated very rudely.

We found this place just driving around. Decided to go in. First thing is cash only. Ok we use their atm double fees ! We get 3 worn out menus after walking across a dirty bumpy undeveloped carpeted floor. Ok we think some places are ok like this. Waitress cones over takes order. Food comes out in 2 minutes flat. My over easy eggs are so not done whites are still clear and runny. My husband got applevstuffed French toast - canned apple pie mix. Waitress never came back to ask how was everything or if we needed refills. I had to track her down for a glass of water. We had to ask her for bill MAYBE 5 tables were used no one in there ! We pay CASH tipped very small and left like hell out of there. 2 hours later I was face in bucket sick. Will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. if you don’t have real chef experience don’t cook for public.

Don't bother. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered raisin toast, all out. Fruit cup, all out. Blueberry muffin, all out. English muffin, you got it, all out. I ended up ordering what I thought were 'home fries', they were thick cut potato slices with no seasoning. Terrible. My nephew ordered one egg over easy, toast and ham. The egg was fine, but the toast was saturated with oleo. The ham was a slice of cheap ground up pork parts formed back into a circle. All totally uneatable. Prices were really high even IF the food would have been good. His meal plus my home fries, plus a cup of tea and glass of milk cost $30.00!The service was non-existent. I ended up going to the hostess station to pay the bill so we could leave.

A little run down but still a great place for breakfast. Service was a little slow due to being short on servers, but the food was excellent.

Great food. Very close to Look Mountain. Perfect spot to stop in before the drive home. Staff was great.

I judge my breakfast places by their bacon. Great bacon! 5 stars are hard to get so 4 stars is really good. We were just visiting and went back for a second breakfast. Process is right. Service is good

The waitress claimed she is the owner, maybe she is, she was extremely rude, to the point that she got so upset when we asked if they use fresh bluberries in pancakes, the cook came up to me & took my sun glasses & threw them away, I was with my family & didn’t want to make any scene in front of them, I should have called police- but the fact that we were on vacation - didn’t want to waste any time on them, disgusting frozen food & horrible service!!! If there was a 0 STAR, I would rate it zero!!

There wasn’t good service. It took a very long time before they took our order and they were taking others orders when they came in after us. It also took a long time before they sat us. One waitress was very kind and the other was ok. She got nicer towards the end. She gave me dirty looks across the room though.

My wife and I spent a week in North Woodstock. Stopped for breakfast at Peg's. Great breakfast spot. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. Eggs, sausage and home fries were delicious. Couldn't believe how quickly the food came out. Located right in downtown North Woodstock, good spot to start our tour of all the interesting stores on the main drag. Definitely stop at Peg's for a satisfying breakfast. P.S. Wanted to try Pegs for lunch but the wait to get in was too long. Would seem to indicate lunch would be as good as the breakfast was.

Waitress was completely rude and mean to us when we missed the wait to be seated sign there were open seats everywhere and no one manning the front hostess area. She was arrogant and condescending she needs to get a life and or a new job....

Small, non-corporate diner with good service and great food. Best part is they give you a choice of hash browns or corn beef hash with their meals. The hash was on point! I'd definitely go back

Food was really good, reasonable priced. We had to wait a while because they were shirt staffed, so only half the tables were open. The two women working the floor were going non-stop.

Food was ok. Blueberry pancakes we're good. French toast was simple thin bread pieces. Home fries were not homemade.

The home fries were so yummy. I also really liked the blueberry pancakes. There was a bit of a wait but the food came out very quickly. There are only 2 waitresses but they move really fast. The prices here are cheap for breakfast.

I've been coming here for many years and have never had a bad meal. Never. The food is reasonably priced. The coffee is excellent. Sometimes, when it is busy, you have to wait for a short while but it is worth the time spent. Every holiday weekend all along Tripoli Road you will hear the cry of "Peg's!" as campers trudge from their tents into town for that first cup of coffee and a bite. They know where to go. Try the Hungry Dude... a great value!

They open at 5:30 not 12. Great food and great waitresses!!

In the past I loved this place when I used to go camping but my last couple of experiences were awful. The food was barely edible, overpriced, and that wasn't even the worst part. The last two times I ate here I got the strung out looking waitress. Even that is okay as long as she does her job well. My big issue was both times the 2 waitresses openly talk trash about people in passing, make fun of people and they were even laughing at a guy simply because he was tall. These 2 have no right to laugh at anyone. It took 10 minutes to get my check both times with barely anyone in there. I will not be going back. I overheard thru hikers at the table next to me saying it was the worst breakfast they have had, and those guys will eat anything.

The home fries were terrible. The food was cold. Waitress was sick during the pandemic. I feel sick from the food. I do not recommend this place.
